thanks so much :)
Great song, the melodies and sound design are great but there is some mixing error. At 1:37 onward when the kick comes in, the entire song clips, causing a strange scratchy sound. This can be fixed by just some sidechain on the bass whenever the kick hits or by turning down the volume of the kick.
Hmm, that's a big concern as I can't hear that myself. I really need to look into new headphones haha. Thanks for the feedback!
EDIT: I think I finally understand what you're hearing, it's a bitcrushing effect that I added intentionally to give the melody some variation. I was wondering why I couldn't hear anything wrong - nothing was wrong in my head haha.
Now this is awesome! It's super creative and I know that a lot of work must've gone into this one!
This project went quite smoothly, but I agree that we did put quite a lot of effort.
Thank you very much for your review! :D
This really sounds like giant woman from steven universe :P. Was it inspired by that? Otherwise i love the growls and the mixing is nice.
Nah I had never heard of steven universe before this song. Plus, its only the first 3 notes that are same. Everything else is different. Thank you so much for the review :)
:D It's finally out! love the guitar part!
Thanks bro <3
What a piece of art!
^-^
Once collabed with xtrullor, now makes tropical house. Cool
Kappa, open to trying new things I guess. Hardcore DUbstep Remix coming soon tho mark my words 8)
Awesome melodies and sounds! Nothing new for an Openlight track! :P
Thanks! Hopefully, when I finally get around to making another, it'll be good as well haha
This is super well composed! I've always wanted to try some cinematic stuff, but I don't have any good samples and such. But this is still inspiring me!
Aww thank you! I worked very hard on this song. It is nice to be appreciated! The samples I had to work with were very hard too (GarageBand.... ugh!) but it is how you mix them that counts. Not only how you mix them, but the actual notes you use too. You need to come up with some very nice chords and melody and maybe a good idiom (4 or 2 chords for vocals) to create a good song. Thank you for writing a review!
Just a chill beat maker. Back from the dead to share some random beats that I made :D
